The midsole gets even more of a reimagining, with added height and a moulded angular shape ending in a square toe that pushes the design into statement piece territory. The signature Chuck Taylor ankle patch goes from circle to octagon, while a revamped tongue and heel tab, and OrthoLite cushioned footbed finish off the details. The lone feature to remain unchanged is the gum rubber outsole, maintaining a bit of the OG aesthetic.
