A legendary Kobe release is returning in celebration of its 10th anniversary with the return of the Kobe 9 Elite High Protro "What The". This iconic version of Kobe's ninth signature stays true to the 2015 original design, with the instantly recognizable, vibrant multi-color Flyknit upper with no-sew overlays, FlyWire, blue embroidery on the tongue branding, silver no-sew swooshes on the sides, Kobe's signature on the inside tongue, carbon fiber heel cap, and white speckled mudguard. Multi-color lines embroidered on the heel pay homage to Kobe’s recovery from an Achilles injury. Multi-color accents hit the Sheath logo on the tongue and the sockliner, while the updated drop-in React foam midsole instead of the original's Lunarlon cushioning, and rubber outsole that features updated traction for better court response complete the design
