1000 "LUNAR NEW YEAR"

New Balance rings in the new year with a look ahead to the lunar new year on the 1000 "Lunar New Year". Nodding more toward a lunar aesthetic than the traditional colors and Zodiac animals of the Chinese New Year, the 1000’s innovative streamlined design features a performance-inspired honeycomb mesh upper in gradient grey to black overlaid with swooping black leather panels, for a tech-inspired look inspired the new moon. Silver accents hit the piping and laces, while also outlining the matte black 'N' logo on the sides. Silver embroidery on the tongue tag and 1000 on the front quarter handle the branding. The sculpted midsole features ABZORB cushioning in the heel and forefoot, with a Stability Web midfoot shank and semi-translucent rubber outsole.
